And as fall approaches, for those of you who enjoy knitting, time for this year's hat - Blue Wave. In anticipation of what many hope will be a decisive turnout, the hat is a subtle message for those who understand AND you can include a "secret message" using Morse Code. Will it become as ubiquitous as the red Melt the Ice hat? Only time will tell, but it would be nice if it did.

Lastly, summer is coming to an end. This week the Minnesota State Fair begins and the weather seems to be cooperating. If you are one who enjoys the crowds, it should be a good year for crowds with better than normal weather patterns this week. I will hope you have a chance to enjoy these last remaining days of summer.
